Considered one of the best motivational speakers of our time, former NFL player Trent Shelton is focused on helping generations to never give up in life and live their purpose. When asked about his mindset prior to the end of his football career, Shelton said, “I was so focused on what I wanted to do that I was blinded to what God called me to do.” That all changed for the better after Shelton spoke at a church service in 2011. Shelton shares his faith publicly, “You have to trust that God is guiding you somewhere even if you don’t understand the path He has you on. Trust in His plan and His promises.” When talking with those questioning their purpose, he adds, “God will give you back better than what you’ve lost. . . you’ve got to trust that you will meet the greatest version of yourself . . . the purpose you’ve prayed for will be revealed to you.”
